Thirtylow, a planned Shopify app, is designed to help you show the lowest price of the last 30 days under each reduced price. Once installed, it will fill in the history from your past orders, so the figure can be there from day one.

How it works
From install to the product page
Planned behaviour: Thirtylow will do one job and show one figure.
Install and read your history
Once installed, Thirtylow will record the current price and compare-at price of every variant and read your orders of the last 30 days. From each order line it will take the original unit price before any discount, together with the order date.
Spot reduced variants
A variant will count as reduced when its compare-at price is above its price, or when you tag its product thirtylow-reduced. From then on every price change will be recorded, with a daily check as a safety net.
Show the figure
For a reduced variant, the lowest price of the 30 days before the reduction began will be written to the variant. A theme block under the price will show it and follow the selected variant. You will be able to edit the wording.
What you get
Planned to be checked, not just trusted
History from day one
Planned: variants that sold in the last 30 days will get their earlier prices from your order lines, labelled as backfilled in the app.
No figure without history
Planned: a reduced variant with too little history will show nothing on your store and be flagged in the app. Thirtylow will never fall back to the compare-at price.
CSV export
Planned: export the raw price history of every variant: date, price, compare-at price and where each price came from.
Seven default labels
Planned: the label will come in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and Polish, and you will be able to change the wording in the theme editor.
Limits
What Thirtylow will not do
Planned limits, so you know what to check yourself.
Shop currency only
The figure will be shown in your shop currency. When a visitor sees another currency or a Markets price, nothing will be shown.
Backfill covers sold variants
Order history only reveals prices of variants that sold. A variant that did not sell and was not tracked will have no figure.
Already reduced at install
If a variant was already reduced when you installed, the true start of the reduction will be unknown. The figure would then come from your orders of the 30 days before install, and the app will say so.
Not legal advice
Thirtylow is designed to help you display a figure. It will not guarantee that your store complies with any law.

Questions
Can I install it today?
Not yet. Thirtylow is waiting for its Shopify App Store listing. This page will link to it once it is live.
Does Thirtylow make my store compliant?
No tool can promise that. Thirtylow is designed to help you show the lowest price of the last 30 days. It is not legal advice; you decide how your store presents prices.
What happens to a new product with no orders?
Planned behaviour: without price history there is no figure to show, so none will be shown, and the app will warn you about that variant.
What will Thirtylow read from my store?
Planned, not yet implemented: product prices, and from your orders only the line-item prices and order dates of the last 30 days, with no customer names, emails or addresses. The app does not exist yet; its data handling will be described in the privacy policy before it launches. This website reads nothing from any store.
How will it be billed?
Planned: $7.99 every 30 days through your Shopify bill, after a 14-day free trial. Nothing is billed today because the app is not available.
